What is ASODEGUA?

ASODEGUA NGO (Association For the Development of Guatemala), is a Guatemalan institution of integral development of socioeconomic programs created in the month of April of 2006, with Legal personality enrolled in the civil Registry of the city of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

Founded by a multidisciplinary group of professionals, national as foreign, and in brotherhood association with Idehd Swiss Group (Switzerland).

Main objectives:

“Give solutions to the problem of human growth and development in a sustainable way.”

Develop and promote education, nutrition, hygiene, medicine, and security and of course help the economic and productive development of those who do not have enough, those who have been marginalized or no access to any instrument of national development, and are practically neglected by government institutions, banks, etc.

This assistance is aimed at those poorest parts of the region, components of a high percentage of the crudest reality in Guatemala and the world, all for dignity and humanity in this world and its nations.

To date 6 ASODEGUA Ong has built schools that educated and daily delivery of food to children in extreme poverty in rural and neighborhood.
We thank the contributions from the Embassy of Japan, and our partner’s privates and professionals, philanthropists, friends and families.

ASODEGUA Ong is currently integrating a new program, the import, distribution and sale of generic medicines in social assistance rates to the area, thus deliver health and hygiene, program start in operation from January 2012.

Sustainability and sustainable over time, for this objective our NGO, has created two new plans or programs, one for voluntary donations, and one for investment. These two programs are creating an endowment that will be provided in the form of microcredit to access capital for development micro business in the areas. Capital-wear in economic and financial capacity of capital returns and benefits, both for donations and for investments to build more schools, give more food, buy more medicine. Thus, the capital of either the donor or philanthropist, as the investor has growth and duration in time, so give perfect trilogy help and no money is wasted, but well used.
